Bringing traditional blacksmithing skills to all


From the absolute beginner, hobbyist or  professional,
we have, or will do our best to arrange.
a specific course to suit your needs.
Our scheduled courses currently consist of;


 A Taster Day for those just wanting to "Have a go"


The cost for this course is £125 per person



A Three Day Intensive Basic Blacksmiths Skills course

This course is designed to cover all the necessary skills needed

to give students a firm foundation and understanding of basic techniques,

essential for pursuing the Blacksmith's craft.


The cost for this course is £250 per person



A one day Toolmaking course  


Introducing students to Heat treatment theory and practice and understanding

 the basic techniques needed when making working tools which can be adapted

for other uses.


Tools made include centre punch, cold chisel, hot chisel and a hot punch.


 The cost for this course is £125 per person



All courses are ideal as a gift, and we can supply a suitable gift card for you to give them

MEMBERS DAYS

Every second Saturday in the month we have a members day where they can use the facilities to produce their own items, they will have the benefit of an experienced mentor being available to provide help and advice if needed. Demonstrations may also be featured if requested, the cost for a member to hire the hearth with fuel for the day is £25.00


Members just wishing to drop in for a chat and to see what is occurring

are welcome to join us for no charge.


 Membership cost is £20 per annum (partners and children are welcome to participate)

The toolmaking course may carry an additional cost depending on what tools are made extra to the basics

and the personal touch, phone or email, currently we don't do texts, or on line bookings.
